Black Swallowtails, take two

This is the second generation of black swallowtails on my fennel and dill this summer. There were only six caterpillars in the first generation. This time I’m having a hrad time counting. Ten? Twelve? More? Some are about ready to change into their chrysalis form. Others are still tiny black specks. We’re excited to watch them grow and change again!
